Directors
Richard Lynes, CEO
As the founder and CEO of OnSite Support, Richard has led the business for over 45 years, and can still be found in the office most days providing support for the leadership and wider team. In his spare time, he is passionate about assisting the community and to helping the disadvantaged – which is an area close to his heart.
Warren Lynes, Managing Director
Warren joined the business in 1998 and now heads up the running of the business under the watchful eye of his dad. Like the rest of his family, Warren believes strongly in serving his community as well as the business and plays an active role in OnSite Support’s regular CSR initiatives. Don’t tell anyone, but Warren hates public speaking; he’d far rather enjoy a good old Nando’s and a few drinks with his family and friends!
Damian Lynes, Sales Director
Having been with the company over 28 years, Damian says he still really enjoys the challenge of his job. He most enjoys the strategic aspects, helping his team identity where we can best support our clients, building partnerships and growing our businesses together. In his spare time Damian dedicates his time to his family and friends and the great things in life.
Sales Team
Murray Hopwood, Sales Manager
Murray’s role is to lead to sales and marketing activity here at OnSite Support. He is responsible for some of our biggest accounts and takes great pride in creating good partnerships with new and existing clients within his portfolio. Murray is always keen to learn new skills and has worked in the construction industry for a number of years now. Outside of work, Murray enjoys a good drink with the family, as well as spending quality time with his daughter.
Tom Pittock, Strategic Relationship Manager
One of Tom’s roles is to be an advocate of the OnSite Support vision of being leading experts in construction safety and site support. His slogan is ‘health & safety is an investment, not a cost’. When he gets time away from work, he’ll fire up the BBQ, bring out some red wine an have a good time with family. Most of all he loves making a difference to peoples lives. That is why he is involved in a leading charity feeding the disadvantaged and supporting ones in devastation.
Ruan Taljaard, Strategic Relationship Manager
Ruan’s role is to identify key changes necessary to improve customer experience. The thing that excites him most about his role is helping people develop, grow and achieve their goals. A typical weekend for Ruan is mostly spent on the golf course, followed by a braai (South African BBQ) in the sun.
Harrison Lynes, Internal Account Manager
Harrison has been with the company for over four years and is involved in the day-to-day activities of ensuring his accounts are given the OnSite Support experience everyday. Harrison enjoys getting to know his clients and takes pride in being able to make their day a little bit easier. In his spare time, Harrison is a keen footballer and can often be found having a kick around with friends.
Andrew 0’Neill, Internal Account Manager
Andrew is one of the key members of our Account Management team, working closely with his colleagues and customers alike to help provide an efficient and friendly service, aiming to ensure we deliver the best OnSite experience for everyone our business touches. Outside of work, Andrew has a passion for photography and will often be found with one of his old analogue film in his hand.
Terry Marsh, Internal Account Manager
Terry one of our dedicated account managers, is a very knowledgeable member of the team, thanks to his experience working in different departments previously. He thoroughly enjoys problem solving and working to give the customer the best experience from the initial enquiry right through to the delivery when working with OnSite Support. Outside of work Terry enjoys spending time with Friends and family and continuing the football culture at OnSite support is a big fan of Tottenham Hotspurs.
Mackenzie Byng, Internal Account Manager
Mackenzie’s role is to ensure that customers needs are being met, and to make the experience of dealing with Onsite Support an enjoyable one. She prides herself on having a can-do attitude and always persevering no matter how difficult the task. Outside of work Mackenzie is an avid Liverpool FC supporter, sharing her dad’s love for football!
Jenson Lynes, Business Development
Jenson’s role focusses on developing and bringing on new customers. Jenson always aims to strive for excellence, looking for ways to do better and create strong links with clients. At the weekend, Jenson’s favourite thing to do is relaxing with his friends and family, especially when good food and drink is involved!
Quinton Holding, Business Development
Quinton, a valuable member of our Business Development team, strives to find new opportunities to support potential customers. He prides himself for being a positive member of the team and always aims to be helpful to both his colleagues and customers. When he’s not at work, Quinton loves rugby, as well as going out and helping friends.
Humphrey Byng, Sales Executive
Humphrey has been with the company for over twenty five years and loves using his vast experience and expertise to come up with the right solutions for his clients, always going the extra mile when necessary. Outside of work Humphrey loves spending time with his four daughters as well as his new granddaughter and is also known for having a deadly right foot on the football pitch.
Customer Excellence Support Team
Helen Coates, Customer Excellence Team Leader
As the Customer Excellence Supervisor, Helen is responsible for supporting her team to give our customers the best experience possible. Helen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, along with a passion for making the customer experience as easy and pleasant as possible. In her free time Helen will usually be found relaxing or drawing.
Alex King, Senior Customer Excellence Manager
Alex is a key member of the Customer Excellence Support Team; she spends her day making sure all our clients are given the best experience when using OnSite Support. Alex prides herself in a quick turnaround from phone call, to order, to getting it out of the door and to the customer. In her spare time Alex loves to spend time with her family, including her two sons.
Zinnia Thomson, Customer Excellence Manager
Zinnia is a key member of the customer excellence support team. She is one of the friendly voices you hear on the phone, always ensuring the client is happy with their experience when using OnSite Support. Zinnia always has a highly positive can-do attitude, which is what we are all about here at OnSite Support.
Madison Gilbert, Customer Excellence Manager
Madison joined OnSite Support in 2022 as a Customer Excellence Manager. She aims to ensure that her customers always have a positive experience with OnSite, making sure to go above and beyond to help them. Madison is the daughter of Roger, our procurement manager, further boosting the family atmosphere.
Emily Hickey, Customer Excellence Manager
Emily joined OnSite Support at the beginning of 2023 and has proven herself to be an asset to the team ever since. She strongly resonates with our value of being ‘committed to learning and innovation’, and is always eager to take on a new challenge to expand her knowledge. Emily is a self-proclaimed ‘child at heart’, after working in a children’s toy shop for many years; and is very proud of her large Lego Min-Figure collection!
Maria Fernandes, Customer Excellence Manager
Maria is a key member of our Customer Excellence Team. Despite her busy role, Maria continues to ensure each one of her customers has a great experience with OnSite Support. Some of the things Maria enjoys doing with her free time include: cooking, dancing and she has even recently taken up painting.
Operations Team
Richard Payne, Head Of Operations
Richard has a very varied role, managing a wide range of issues and departments, which are all designed to make OSS more effective. Richard feels very passionate about innovation and resonates most with this value of ours. Having worked in many countries and industries prior to this role, Richard feels that he brig a fresh view and perspective to the team, which in turn, he hopes will help achieve our goals. A fun fact about Richard is that he is a qualified yoga teacher and has even taught a few Hollywood stars and sportsman (gossip is available…)
Vincent Jenkins, Technology and Systems Manager
Vince has been with OnSite Support for over eleven years now and he loves the daily challenges of his role. No day is the same and that is what Vince enjoys the most. He is responsible for a number of the critical functions at OnSite Support and ensures that both staff and clients are properly looked after. Throughout 2020 Vince was responsible for the implementation of our new state of the art ERP system. This was a huge success and Vince is one of the most valued members of the OnSite Support team not just because of this, but because of his brilliant ability to deliver projects on time and successfully. In his spare time Vince is an avid angler and now he can be found passing on that passion to his son and maybe even his daughter…
Kerwyn Berndt, Warehouse Manager
Kerwyn began his career at OnSite Support in 2018 and his positivity has had an incredible impact on the team so far. He defines his role as a personal juggler, with the key being to never drop the ball. He enjoys a challenge and loves to see a plan come together. As a native South African, Kerwyn would love the ability to fly so he can visit his family at the weekends. Showing adaptability from an early age, Kerwyn started life as a left hander and decided to swap to right-handed at the age of six!
Terri Corbett, Logistics Coordinator & After Sales Support
Terri’s role is to assist our drivers and customers with our services, assisting with booking in deliveries. Terri is known around the office for her vibrant personality and this is something that doesn’t go unnoticed by our customers too. Outside of work Terri likes to spend lots of time with her family and friends, especially her baby great niece and nephew.
Purchasing Team
Roger Gilbert, Procurement Manager
As Procurement Manager, Roger is in charge of buying the products that we sell to our customers. His favourite thing about working for OnSite Support is that we are always aiming to make changes and efficiencies to improve our services. In his free time, roger enjoys being able to spend time with his family and friends, including his daughter Maddy, who is also part of the OnSite Support team.
Ana Morari, Purchasing Stock Controller
Ana is one of the key people behind ensuring we can get the right product to you at the right time. She always enjoys when she feels like her work has made a difference and her favourite thing about her job is being able to spend money! Outside of work, Ana’s weekends will usually be spent with her family, where they will usually be found either in the park, or baking something together.
Jason Wheeler, Purchasing Stock Controller
What Jason enjoys most about his role is working with suppliers and reaching deals that help the company to continue to move forward. His favourite thing about working for OnSite Support is the fun and positive working atmosphere. At the weekend Jason enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends (especially when we get good weather).
Marketing Team
David Nagy, Head of Strategy & Sustainability/ Marketing Manager
David has worked in the construction industry for over twenty years, both in the supply chain and for principle contractors. He has a passion for finding innovative solutions to tricky problems and doing the best for his customers. David is highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic and even in the worst situations David somehow manages to maintain a positive and determined mindset throughout
Hannah Luckhurst, Marketing Executive
Hannah joined OnSite Support in 2021 as our first ever apprentice. Following the completion of her apprenticeship in 2023, Hannah was keen to continue her journey within the OnSite Support marketing team. She takes great pride in all her work, particularly when she is able to push her creative boundaries. In her free time Hannah enjoys a nice dog walk – especially when it’s sunny outside!
Fenton Joynt, Marketing Assistant
Fenton is on of the creative thinkers in our marketing team here at OnSite Support. He enjoys the variety his role brings and the challenge of a new task – no two days are ever the same! When he’s not at work, you will find Fenton spending some much needed time with his friends and family.
